Sharp, snarky urban fantasy crawling with reapers.
I'm an Oregon native with Irish ancestry, which is a roundabout way of explaining why Molly Coyle ended up in Dublin. I've never been able to escape the appeal of the place, so I sent her there to investigate.
I read constantly — mystery, thrillers, fantasy of nearly every stripe — and I've been doing it long enough to know exactly what I want from a series and how rarely I find it. Snark that lands. An ensemble worth spending time with. Stakes that mean something even when everyone's being funny about it. That's what I'm trying to write.
The rest of my life is quieter. There's a wife, a young daughter, walks through the Willamette Valley, more video games than strictly necessary, and a television habit that ranges across several decades of programming.
Twelve books into Molly's story and still finding things out about her. There's more coming...
